Last year Covert Music Club did a short piece on Dublin singer-songwriter, Paddy Lyons, and his most recent offering Blessed. Well, it turns out that quality song writing happens to run in the family and Paddy’s brother, Barry Lyons has recently been releasing music too.

The BIMM student released his debut track, Fire Of The Youth, back in November, and I instantly loved it. There is so much going on in this four minutes as Lyons takes the listener on a walk through the experiences that everyone has on a night out while growing up.
